And that was NOT a controlled low speed demonstration drive or anything of the sort. Very pleasurable country drive up highway 61 to Perryville Missouri and back at 45-65 speeds primarily, with a little finish here in town of five or six miles. Rolling curvy blacktop highway through the country. Perfect Speedster track.

We've since removed all toe-in, gone to a higher tire inflation, and moved to Redline MTF in the transaxle. Haven't tested it for max range yet with those improvements but 110 miles is not at all out of reach.

All that said, the "safe" range for these batteries to maximize life would be in the 75-80 mile range.

Jack RickardJack Rickardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15936311474215791697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6676835811534572362.post-81841760650434482752010-05-31T17:49:12.626-05:002010-05-31T17:49:12.626-05:00hihiAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6676835811534572362.post-12086209372251756602009-07-19T10:16:17.033-05:002009-07-19T10:16:17.033-05:00I'd be happy to Gardner. I am in the utility industry and your comment that few people are willing (or able to afford) a serious exploration of electric drive car conversion strikes a bell. We would love to have you speak to about 80 of us "hands on" guys who are trying to figure out if utility companies are going to have to accomodate electric drive conversions and how. Send me a note to gsmcbride@aztechinc.com if you are interested.Gardner McBridehttp://www.gardnermcbride.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
